While Catrinas honors our ancestors, My Barrio Fest celebrates our living community—the people, stories, and creativity that give life to our neighborhoods every day.

We’re bringing the heart of the block to the heart of Seattle, highlighting the vibrant entrepreneurs and artists who make our barrios thrive. This unique experience is produced with the same high-quality vision and passion by the creative minds behind the Seattle Catrinas Festival, bringing back the magic and cultural pride you love—this time celebrating the heartbeat of our streets.

Puget Sound offers us its landscapes, fresh air, and countless opportunities. My Barrio Fest wasn’t born in an office or from a business plan—it was born from a sigh of nostalgia and a deep personal conviction: that dreams do come true.
Like the Seattle Catrinas Festival, I founded this celebration because I truly believe that our culture, our joy, and our intangible heritage are the greatest gifts we have brought to the Puget Sound region. More than an event, this festival exists because we are here to build something meaningful and to leave a legacy.
My mission is that, for one day—and hopefully forever—you feel that the neighborhood isn’t thousands of miles away. The neighborhood is here, because the neighborhood is you. The neighborhood is all of us.

El Puget Sound nos ofrece sus paisajes, su aire fresco y un sinfín de oportunidades. My Barrio Fest no nació en una oficina ni surgió de un plan de negocios; nació de un suspiro de nostalgia y de una convicción personal y profunda: los sueños se hacen realidad.
Al igual que el Seattle Catrinas Festival, fundé este festival porque estoy convencido de que nuestra cultura, nuestra alegría y nuestro patrimonio inmaterial son el regalo más grande que le hemos traído a la región del Puget Sound. Más que un evento, esta celebración existe porque estamos aquí para construir algo que trascienda y para dejar un legado.
Mi misión es que, por un día —y ojalá para siempre— sientas que el barrio no está a miles de kilómetros de distancia. El barrio está aquí, porque el barrio eres tú. El barrio somos todos.
